Surprising how much you rely on the home connection!
Have had some right fun the last few weeks, not getting the miles even though the weather has improved.
Forgot to turn off the display on the 4ft high presentation screen whilst writing this waiting to do a presentation - vey embarrasing!
Anyway - FatBoy is bouncing upward in fat terms - I know it might seem incredible considering that I am averaging around 14 hours exercise but I have built up the fat a bit more the last few weeks. So the booze has had to stop (Monday) and the diet has also started. Target reset to be between 13 and 13.5 stones by the Marmotte.
Mile baggibg is getting to be a real bore and I am not improving - a total readjustment is required so that I start to train rather than just pedalling.
I have alittle time to do this now as I am off the bike for a few days due to a left leg ITB problem, can't walk properly!!! Ow it hurts too.
So I will reassess and report back - I am far enough ahead not to worry so all should be fine.
Pie Guy is doing loads of what sounds like really fun and hard sportives - oh to live in California - hope I can keep up with him in July.
Actually Stratford club is driving to rhe alps in a few weeks and we will be doing the Marmotte route (without Alpe d'Huez) should be really fun.
